How to use Scentorium Deodorant Paste
Scentorium Deodorant Paste is applied to the underarms using your fingers. A spatula is included for cleanliness and to reduce bacteria transfer from your fingers into the pot. Always use a clean spatula to get your product from the pot. A pea-sized amount is a guide that we find works for most people, but every body is different. Less is more, and you should only need to use enough to create a thin, invisible layer. You can vary the amount up or down from here to find an effective balance, but we’ve found over the last couple of years that a pea-sized amount is about right for most people.
Wait a few minutes after application for it to absorb and by not using too much should minimize any transfer onto clothing. Ensure it’s rubbed in well and absorbed and you’re good to go!
People are meant to perspire. It is our body's way of expelling toxins and also to cool us down. Antiperspirants block the sweat glands and so the toxins our bodies are trying to expel are trapped inside. This deodorant does not block the sweat glands, it allows you to sweat but neutralizes the bacteria that forms after we sweat so there is no body odour.

We’ve tested our deodorants on all types of skin with brilliant results, but as you know, every body is different. You will most likely know your body best. What causes a reaction to bicarb soda in some and not others?
It's entirely dependent on your body's pH level. Your pH can be affected by age, gender, diet, hormones and many other factors. Our underarms are acidic and bicarb soda is alkaline so a reaction can occur and cause redness and irritation.
What can I do if I have a reaction to bicarb soda?
We recommend persons who have sensitive skin perform a patch test. While all our ingredients are 100% natural, essential oils and Sodium Bicarbonate can react to each individual differently. Should you have a reaction to a product we recommend discontinuing use and seeing a doctor or health care professional and seeking medical attention.
We do have a sensitive deodorant available as an alternative. It contains no bicarb soda and is very gently on the skin whist remaining effective. It's called our Scentorium Deodorant Paste Sensitive.

We recommend using most of our products within 6-12 months of opening.
How does Scentorium Deodorant Paste work?
Our deodorant works by killing the odour causing bacteria that lives in your arm pits. This allows you to sweat naturally, removing the toxins from your body minus the stench.
What should I do if my deodorant melts in hot weather?
If stored correctly, this should not happen but if it does, just give it a stir and pop it in the fridge to harden. You can still use whilst melted however it will be harder to apply without making a mess.
Do you test on animals?
Never! We only test on willing human adults!
